Aferdita + Ricky // Costa Rica Wedding

We are so excited to share Aferdita and Ricky’s Costa Rica wedding with you! Since the day we shot their dreamy cliffside engagements we had been dying to get them in front of our cameras again. Not only were the details of the wedding stunning but this couple seriously knows how to have fun!

The few days leading up to the wedding was full of activities with their closest friends, including zip lining and a 90’s bar crawl! They stayed in the house where the reception was held. It slept 23 people meaning many of their friends got to stay right there with them! Their rehearsal dinner was on a private catamaran sunset cruise that was for all the guests to be apart of. The ceremony was at Cala Luna Point in Playa Langosta, Costa Rica. It was just a short walk from the house where they were staying which worked out perfectly. One of the many things that made it so special was having Mason, Aferdita’s 12 year old son walk her down the aisle. Their close friend officiated which also made it more personal and they wrote their own vows. Another special touch was having a guitarist play music and play John Legemd’s “All of Me” song when Aferdita walked down the aisle.

After the ceremony and cocktail hour, the guests were served Surf and Turf. It was beyond delicious. During the toasts many tears were shed and sweet words were shared. So much love and support was shown by family and friends for this couple. Everyone was truly there to celebrate. Before the dance party begun, Aferdita and Ricky surprised their guests with fire dancers! Everyone loved it!

 Aferdita and Ricky, we are beyond grateful that you allowed us to be a part of capturing your special day. Thank you for treating us like family. We, along with all of your guests, are going to remember your wedding and the love we witnessed forever.
