Ashley’s Maternity Session // Mogollon Rim

When Ashley emailed me saying she was hoping for a snowy maternity session I couldn’t respond “YES!” fast enough! I LOVE getting to go up to Northern Arizona! The day before our session together we were super excited because the weather predicted snow. It was the perfect situation! During our drive up the mountain we encountered rain… lots of rain.. so much rain that we were losing hope for the snow!

I kept my fingers crossed and said a prayer that the temperature would drop! We continued up the mountain, past Payson.. and still no snow! It wasn’t until we were about 5 miles out from our location that we hit the blizzard!! I literally laughed when I saw it. I had been worrying the whole way up that we were going to have to deal with miserably cold rain instead of snow. Note to self, stop worrying.

Ashley and her beautiful family were troupers! Getting your photos taken in the snow is no easy feat. It’s hard to walk, hard to keep dry, and you’re absolutely F R E E Z I N G!  I seriously admire all my sweet clients that are up for the challenge and keep such a positive attitude! Not to mention I think Ashley is one of the most stunning pregnant Momma’s I have ever seen! & their outfit choices were perfection!
