Engagement season is one of my absolute favorites. I love getting to know all of my fabulous clients before their wedding day. It’s a beautiful time of celebration and joy. Jess and Alex’s engagement session was exactly that. We had such a great time together and so much in common.
We met up in Payson and then followed each other up to Christopher Creek where their engagement session began. They got out of the car and then out jumped their sweet little dogs Maximus and Mona. Our hearts melted. They were seriously the sweetest, funniest dogs.
After we got all unloaded and were all ready to head out a man came pulling right up to us in his golf cart. He said that there was a bear near by and that we needed to leave. He wasn’t very happy or very nice. As silly as this sounds, all four of us decided we would stay to get the photos at the creek. We had been dreaming of this location with this couple and we had driven a long way. How were we supposed to leave that? After shooting about 15 minutes we noticed something moving back in the trees.. it ended up just being a few cows. We giggled and continued about our session in the beautiful mountain air.
After finishing shooting at Christopher Creek we then head up the rest of the way to the Mogollon Rim. As you can probably tell from my past engagements… this is one of my absolute favorite locations. It also seems to be clients favorites as well. Jess + Alex’s outfit choices were on point. I’m a sucker for floor length dresses paired with a good pair of heels. Jess looked stunning. Thanks for choosing us to be a part of this special time in your lives.
